Each of the 832 photographs in these Four Albums, show a scene described in book <em>Zen and Art of Motorcycle Maintenance</em>. Each was especially researched and photographed to show a specific ZMM travel passage shown below that photo. These albums are Practically "A Photo-Book for Zen and Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

The former home (~1968) of John and Sylvia Sutherland in Minneapolis shown in 18 photos. Despite John's statements in ZMM, this looks to us like a wonderful home along a quiet shady street, in a perfectly fine neighborhood!

NOTE: At the bottom of this page, you will find Links to several of my webpages (and photographs) which give more information on how to use the several software systems mentioned on this page below.

1) To Paul Lewis, USCA Library Computer Guru, We Send Our Most Sincere Thank You.

Paul’s was the vision that started ZMM Quality.org and ZMM Quality.org Gallery. Paul has extensively and expertly guided the work to bring to reality what you see here on these web pages. Paul was the person who introduced me to the four Web Presentation Software Packages you see described below. He explained to me the virtues and power of these systems which have been used to: up-load, edit, and display the photos and text you see on these: 1) Web Pages and 2) Web Photo Album Gallery.

Paul is now helping other people to learn about the virtues of these and other wonderful (and reliable) software programs (now called “applications”). Please visit Paul’s Open Source Web Pages to learn more. (If you sign-in, you will have access to even more resources.) Please visit http://opensource.usca.edu/ OR http://opensource.usca.edu/tiki-index.php .

2) A Big Thank You to the Persons Who Developed the Following Four Web Presentation Software Packages for ZMM Quality.org.

It here is my pleasure to gratefully acknowledge the careful efforts of the people who developed the fine Web Presentation Software Systems (see below) that I here depend on. “ NOTE WELL!!” All five software systems (so called applications), acknowledged below, are excellent, reliable, and easy to use! They are free of charge to any honest and serious user, and are available as Internet Downloads. A click on the links given below will take your internet browser to the respective websites for downloads, explanation, and related discussion forums. ‘‘These Software Packages are truly amazing! In fact better than you can buy!” I sincerely recommend that you actually try these software systems for your next web page project! At the bottom of this page, you will find links to several of my webpages (and photographs) which give more information on how to use the software I have been using.

a) Our Sincere Thanks Go to The Gallery Development Team.

My ZMM Quality.org Photo Gallery is powered by "php Gallery Software". They have created such a wonderful way to view photo albums over the Internet! Please learn more and find a Upper Left Menu Link to other “Sample Galleries” at http://gallery.menalto.com/
Their "php Gallery Web Photo Album SLIDE-SHOW" is outstanding!! To try it, follow the instructions on Gallery Slideshow Info in Main Menu at Left. This webpage will explain how to use the Gallery Photograph Slide Show. Links to examples are given.

b) My Photographs are “ftp up-loaded” by a Software Program in My Computer Called “Gallery Remote”.

ZMM Quality Gallery Pages have my photos transferred to my remote host computer by a wonderful and powerful FTP software called Gallery Remote. This software is also from the Gallery Development team. Many, many "thank you's" go to Ya'll for another super fine product! http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpWiki&file=index&pagename=Gallery%20Remote

c) To the Very Creative Souls at “pm Wiki”, I Send My Expression of Thanks for Creating the Simplest of All Web Authoring Package.

I have recently changed my text webpages to pm Wiki, because, (after learning a few tricks) it is marvelously easy to use. I have yet to find out if it has the needed statistical data collection and reporting ability called "site referrers statistical package". However, pm Wiki does require much knowledge to load the software into the needed Internet Server. (Nevertheless, Wiki Software is provided by a number of Internet Host Companies. Look at their webpages or ask me for recommendations.) I depend on Paul Lewis to extensively help me with these set-up steps. My Home Page Main Menu (at upper left) has links to where you may read more about Wiki, how to get it and how to use it.

d) Many Thanks to Helge Langen for his Siteman Personal Website CMS = Siteman version 1.1.2.

For over a year, I successfully used "Siteman php" because,(after set-up) it is easy to use and has a needed statistical data collection and reporting ability called "site referrers statistical package". However, Siteman does require much knowledge of html to set up the headers, footers, and main menu list. I depend on Paul Lewis to extensively help me with these page set-up steps. Recent needs however required me to change to pm Wiki. More info at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sitem

e) Many Thanks Go to the Kind Developers of the "phpWeb Site Content Management System Software".

Thanks to you at Appalachian State University so very much for your diligent efforts in putting together a great project. My first ZMM Quality.org website was powered by "php Web Site" for over a year and one half. During this time, it has been wonderful to be able to use this package. When I started, I was a "green behind the ears" beginner and totally unfamiliar with the html programming language. The phpWebSite Content Management System (in older versions) had another great feature! This system collected and presented the URL's of all the "Referring Sites" in a giant tabular format. This means it collected data of all the URL's of sites that have directed traffic to your site. It showed a big table listing the URL's where the visitor had just "come from" and how many of such occurrences. These tables were very, very extensive and complete. Hopefully, the newer versions phpWebsite Package will soon restore their wonderful "site referrers" statistical data tables in the upcoming software releases.
