Pompeys Pillar Is a Curious Geological Formation and a Famous Historical Landmark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This famous attraction is curiously unmentioned in ZMM, despite the Narrator's stated interest in Lewis and Clark. Also skipped over, despite it's being clearly marked by signs and is visible to the West from along the older (non interstate) highway. This is, of course, the same pavement as the Narrator's 1968 trip.
