“Thanks Again To Dayna Speich and Many Other Helpful Citizens, The Long Lost Pirsig 1968 Picnic Canopy Has Been Found! North Dakotans Are Cool and Kind!” Continued from previous photo. .” Jennifer Manstrom, Wyndmere School Librarian said: “We have done some asking around and we don't think it was in Wyndmere, but more likely the Hwy 13 rest stop is just west of Milnor, beside the current Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative. We think the same shelter is STILL there!. If that isn't it, it may be at Gwinner at the intersection of Hwy 13 and the state highway which goes to Lisbon.” Gary Wegner then contacted the Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative at Milner. Co-op employee Dayna Speich replied: “The picture was taken just west of [our] Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative (then R.S.R.) building at Milnor, ND along Highway 13.” On my second trip along the ZMM Route, I had the sense of great satisfaction and privileged as I took this photo! Manager of The Dakota Valley Cooperative and Four Fellow MOQ ZMM Travelers Philosophic! When I went into the Coop office to find and photograph Dayna Speich, she announced my presence to Manager Jay Jacobson. He came out to meet Anthony McWatt (England), Rebecca Temmer, (British Columbia, Canada), David Buchanan (Colorado) and Gavin Gee-Clough (Austrailia). On my second trip along the ZMM Route, I endeavored to help Anthony McWatt, and MOQ Friends find ZMM Photo Locations. Dr. McWatt, recently awarded PhD in the Philosophy of ZMM and Lila, was photographing ZMM Scenes in preparation for his forth coming DVD. Although I was invited not to participate, I observed the Four MOQ Philosophers prepare for their contemporary debate in front of the camera here ..... "On This Famous Pirsig Site"! They emotionally worked up a fever for their deliberations by first a joyous & energetic ritual dancing around this picnic table! Along Highway 13 at Milnor, ND. ************************************ (Photo = Summer 2006 0221 ...... ZMM Page = 025 ...... WayPt = -017i)

Photos of The Bobcat Factory Are A Must, Since My Grandson Matthew Is Thrilled With Tractors and Machinery Generally, and Bobcat's Specifically. On my second trip we noticed the symbolic bobcat-face painted in black on the white water tower. Due to my recent introductions to the fascinations of Bobcat tractors, I instantly knew we had to turn one block to get photos of the factory. One block North of Highway 13 in Gwinner, ND. Either way, photos of the production floor are not allowed.) However this Bobcat Museum was open to us, and we were allowed to get photos of the line-up of all the models thru the years, including the very first production Bobcat tractor. My Grandson was also pleased to see the color catalogues we were able to bring home from here. One block North of Highway 13 in Gwinner, ND. Motorcycle just outside restaurant after my first full day traveling the ZMM Route, Oakes ND. The little Red 1994 Plymouth Escort was my "home away from home". It was jam packed with computers, camera supplies, camping gear, maps, GPS, camping food, research notebooks, plus travel and research documents. On the back seat, fifty copies of the ZMM book are ready to give those who help me, as thanks for helping supply information re my ZMM research.
