They Must Struggle Their Way Down Through Dense Underbrush!
“The descent is easy now but I see it will be steeper soon. It’s still open and sunny here but soon we’ll be in trees again. .. I don’t know what to make of all this weird talk at night except that it’s not good. …. Now we enter the trees again, and the sight of the mountaintop is obscured by their branches and I’m glad. …. From here on it looks like a slow descent. This slope has evidently been logged and there’s a lot of underbrush higher than our heads that makes it slow going. We’ll have to work our way around it.“
