South Main Street, La Pine, OR. This photo taken July 3, 2002, one day prior to USA celebration of National Declaration of Independence Day, hence the Flag. In the Clouds, note that the “Crown” is formed at the precise intersection of a “Cross” formed by two lines of clouds. At this time the line of clouds to the South were developing a second “near crown”, NOTE TO GURR: this line was a repeat of the previous captionAt this time, a second “near crown” was developing further South, with several dark concentrating areas. I think these were trying to make more “crowns”? More photos of the “crown” and its subsequent development will be (eventually) in my album called ‘HSG Personal Experiences’. Different topic: Years ago, many people disposed of waste oil as does the Narrator here and other places in ZMM We now understand why this is unacceptable and, in my opinion, should really never have been done - like smoking and alcoholic beverages.
